We start our adventure by paying reverence to the mighty Victoria Falls, washing away everything that needs to be released, followed by a mystical cleanse by her spay. Then early the next morning we watch the world come alive as we float along the river with the sun rising over the banks of the majestic Zambezi River. We then make our way across the contrasting landscapes that lead us to Hwange, where we will meet our guide and make our way to our private Fly Camp on the eastern border of Hwange National Park. We'll spend the next few days exploring the Park and it's surrounds. Our journey ends with a night in a private villa on the gorge high above the Zambezi River, watching our final Zimbabwean sunset together.

Itinerary
Our experiences are designed with two things in mind; firstly to elicit a feeling of aliveness, and secondly to allow for real connection. Connection with nature, with others, and with yourself. The activities below are a guideline for what you will experience; no two days will ever be the same. Known by locals as Mosi-oa-Tunya,
"The Smoke That Thunders", Victoria Falls is where the Zambezi River gathers its full power and hurls itself over a basalt cliff, roaring as it does so. Whilst the air shimmers with rainbows, your skin tingles with spray, and the earth’s heartbeat thunders under your feet. Victoria Falls is a Unesco World Heritage site.
Hwange National Park is Zimbabwe’s largest wildlife sanctuary. A vast and varied landscape stretching across arid Kalahari sands, and Mopane woodlands, to open savannas and Camel Thorn Forests, under which the ancient herds of elephants move like gentle giants. In Hwange, the rhythms of the land invite you to slow down, observe, and feel the deeper pulse of the wild.
Zambezi National Park lies along the edges of the great Zambezi River. Known for its lush riverine landscapes and ancient woodlands, including an acacia albida forest. The park offers an intimate experience of the wild, walking beneath towering trees, listening to birdsong, and feeling the steady presence of the Zambezi as it shapes life along its banks.
Our Accommodation

In Victoria Falls we make ourselves at home in the Victoria Falls Estate where we have a private villa. From here we have easy access to all the sites and sounds (we can hear the thunder of the Falls) that Vic Falls has to offer. The villa itself has a luscious garden with private pool and a generous outside and indoor large living area. While in Victoria Falls we will eat at local restaurants taking in the local cuisine.
When we head off into the wilderness, we want to feel as much a part of it as possible. A Fly Camp provides the necessary protection from the wilderness, without detracting from the feeling of sleeping right inside it. A different kind of luxury - canvas tents, comfy beds, good linen & outdoor showers under the stars. All our meals are prepared daily by our chef. With teas, coffees, and sundowners on tap.
We will spend a night on Chundu Island, a small island on the Zambezi River. A mere 21kms upstream from Victoria Falls Chundu Island is a destination filled with unique experiences, magnificent views, friendly faces and wildlife that enthralls. We will have time for glorious sunset cruises to the contrasting thrill of game drives and bush walks in the Zambezi National Park, or relaxing by the pool.
